Exhibitor Information
For more than 50 years, ICI’s Annual General Membership Meeting (GMM) has brought together fund industry leaders, fund directors, policymakers, regulators, and others to explore key policy issues, worldwide economic and investment trends, distribution and marketing challenges, and retirement issues. In recent years, the GMM has been held in conjunction with ICI’s Mutual Fund Compliance Programs Conference, ICI’s Operations and Technology Conference, and IDC’s Investment Company Directors Workshop. The joint events typically attract 1,400–1,600 attendees.
Where Is the Service Provider Exhibition?
The Service Provider Exhibition will be held at Exhibit Hall A, which is directly under the conference registration area.

The exhibit hall is THE networking place for conference attendees, who represent investment company senior management and independent directors, as well as sales, communications, marketing, research, and operations businesses.

If you choose to mail in your registration form with a check, you must allow up to 10 days for your registration to be processed. Booth selection will not be reserved until all registration materials have been received. Please note that booth registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Other Promotional Opportunities
Affiliate Function
The conference schedule allows time for firms to host events that do not conflict with the official conference agenda, including the conference dinner on May 10 at 7:00 p.m. Requests to host social events must be approved by ICI in advance (this includes events held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, as well as any event held at an off-site venue). There is a $2,500 fee associated with hosting an affiliate function. This fee is waived for all exhibiting and sponsoring companies. All firms that register for this opportunity will receive a preconference attendee roster approximately every four weeks with updates of the GMM registration numbers. Registration to host an affiliate function will be available January 11, 2012. This opportunity is complimentary if you purchase a booth space this year. Tote Inserts
You may reach GMM conference attendees by submitting written materials or small gift items to be inserted in the conference tote bag. (Important: ICI does not permit bellman distributions at the conference hotels.) The cost of participating in this opportunity is $1,550. Items must be small enough to fit easily into the tote bags. Submissions must include a sample of the materials to be included in the conference bag. Once approved, ICI will notify you in writing and provide shipping information. Legal Forum
Back by popular demand! ICI is pleased to provide law firms with the opportunity to showcase their investment management expertise through a brief 30-minute presentation to GMM conference attendees. The Legal Forum will take place in the GMM Exhibit Hall. The presentation topic must be relevant to the asset management industry and must be approved by ICI’s GMM planning committee. The cost of participating in this opportunity is $3,500 per firm. Registration for this opportunity is now available. Please note that only the first seven law firms to register will be given a presentation session. Presentation times and topics are approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Prize-Drawing Stage
Advertise your company and booth location by doing a major prize drawing! ICI will have a formal stage set up for exhibitors to announce prize-drawing winners. If you wish to utilize the stage for a prize drawing, you must register in advance. There is no fee associated with this opportunity. All companies that register will have their name, company contact information, prize, and drawing time listed in the GMM program. Registration for reserving stage time will be available January 11, 2012. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that if you choose to do a prize drawing, a representative from your company must announce the prize and winner at the conference.
